Kim Rogers – Worm Queen! Kim Rogers has spent more than 20 years working within the Western healthcare system—authoring national certification exams, advising health boards, and teaching in colleges—until her own health crisis revealed something shocking: her body was infested with parasites.

After years of being dismissed by doctors while suffering from endometriosis, mold toxicity, Lyme disease, and extreme fatigue, Kim took matters into her own hands. What she found? Worms, candida, and heavy metals were silently wreaking havoc on her body—and no one in conventional medicine was talking about it.

Now known as the “Worm Queen,” Kim has gone viral on TikTok and Instagram for showing exactly what she detoxed (think: visible worms, mucus, and more). Her raw, unfiltered videos have reached millions—because they expose the side of wellness that no one wants to talk about, but everyone needs to hear.

Kim is the founder of RogersHood Apothecary and the creator of the ParaFy Kit, a holistic parasite cleanse protocol that’s waking people up to what’s living inside them.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo

So what if some of the most persistent symptoms you're seeing, fatigue, and skin issues, and hormone imbalances aren't just about deficiencies or hormones? What if something else is driving it? Something most practitioners aren't trained to look for.

In functional medicine, we're trying to look deeper, of course, to ask better questions than in conventional medicine and connect patterns. But there are still blind spots, right? We all have blind spots. And today's conversation goes into one of the most controversial ones.

Today, we're diving into a topic that's often overlooked, sometimes dismissed, and rarely discussed in a very meaningful way clinically.

So I'm joined by Kim Rogers. She's also known as the worm queen, and she spent  over 20 years working inside the conventional medical system, writing certification exams. She just told me she ran 25 medical colleges and advised health boards. And then she had her own health challenges, which forced her to look at what's being missed here.

So after years of dealing with things like endometriosis, and Lyme disease, and chronic fatigue, and mold toxicity, she uncovered something she believes is being completely overlooked.

Parasites, fungal overgrowth, and toxic burden. I'm not sure about completely overlooked, because it's very popular these days to talk about parasites being the be-all and the end-all, but we're going to dig into that a little deeper.

She's the founder of Rogershood Apothecary and the creator of something she calls the Parafy Kit.  She's known for her raw, unfiltered approach to detox and gut health. That's reached millions.

This is a bold conversation, and we had this little conversation in the green room, before we started, that we're both New Yorkers, right?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (02:29)

I'm not from New York. I just get along with all New Yorkers, because I have a New York style attitude. Yes.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (02:35)

New York style attitude. So I was saying, we're there, we're abrupt, we're not going to filter it down, right? So we're going to separate what's clinically relevant from common misunderstandings. And most importantly, we're going to think through how do we figure out this root-cause system-based lens, or use our root-cause system-based lens that we as practitioners do and work through this situation.

So Kim, I'm excited to have you here.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (03:06)

Thanks for having me. I'm so excited to be here and talk to you and talk to your community and just get a better understanding of this kind of crazy topic that I fell into a few years ago.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (03:17)

It's awesome that you did and know that our audience is mostly health practitioners of all different kinds from MDs and NDs to DCs and health coaches, et cetera. But also, what I like to call the health nerds, the nutrition nerds, who are people who just want to understand for themselves, and their family members, and really like the deep dive that we do here.

So I want to start with your story, because it sounds like you had a story behind the madness here. So I want to know, when did you realize that something important wasn't being addressed with all those health issues that you were dealing with?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (03:54)

In 2019, actually. I know the exact time, the exact date. I had stage four endometriosis, and I had a hysterectomy when I was 29, now knowing it was unnecessary. I actually had undiagnosed chronic Lyme, mold, and parasites, and I've been able to kind of go back into my lineage, as well as, my own medical records. My dad was a colonel in the Air Force, and when you retire, you get your medical records from the day you were born.

So I have those that I can go back and refer to as all of this has unfolded with my health. I've been able to go back in and look at when did this happen? When did this happen? So that I could put it all together. And then I give that knowledge to people. And that's what has made me so viral is just giving out my knowledge for free.

So in 2019, my health declined super rapidly, my husband and I had decided to just basically say goodbye, and we were grieving the fact that my organs were not doing great. They were somewhat shutting down.

Now I know that was from Cryptosporidium parvum,  which is what I had, as well as roundworms and flukes and pinworms. But it really became apparent that I wasn't going to be able to reach out to Western medicine anymore with my endometriosis issues that I was having. I had 13 surgeries and a hysterectomy by the year 2019. And at that point I was around 40. And so if you figure that's every two years I had surgeries that was their solution. It was never to go and do extensive testing, which I've done now.

It was never to go and find out if something else could be causing me to have these problems.

I stopped pooping for a month. It was very uncomfortable. It was really just to the point where I reached out to my doctor, and I said, “What can we do here?” And she said, go take some psyllium husk. That was her answer. Well, what's the root cause of why this is happening to me? This is really unfortunate.

So around 2020, I was living in the woods, because my husband and I sold everything to go build a log home and to say goodbye to me. I didn't want to leave my husband with a mortgage and debt. So we sold everything, and we went out to this piece of recreational property that we had that was on the outskirts of the rainforest in Washington state. We decided to go ahead and start to figure out what was wrong with me and also build our log home in the process so that if and when I died, I would have something for my husband to continue to live in and work on. It was just really important for me to have that for him.

So in the midst of the 2020 world that was happening. I was not subscribing to it, and I was in the epicenter, which was the state of Washington at the time. And so it was kind of convenient for me as a chronically ill person. Everything went on on zoom, and everything went on the phone. It was just really great, because now I was able to actually, somewhat research more and function better, because I didn't have to go to my practitioners to get assistance.

So, I did some mushrooms, and I really worked on assisting my body to the best of my ability.

Functional psychedelics. I mean, we grew them. We started growing them. We really learned the value and the benefits from turkey tail and lion's mane. So we really focused in, because I was starting to feel a little bit better in 2019 to 2020 when I was getting off the big pharma meds.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (07:56)

So you were on a bunch of pharma meds up until this point.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (08:02)

I was on Klonopin. I was on Klonopin, four milligrams, 22 years, because of PTSD from all of the unnecessary things that were going on medically to me, and then some childhood trauma, as well. I needed to know where I really was. I was going to be diagnosed with Parkinson's. I was going to get tested. I was having tremors. I was having blank stares. I worked in neurology. So I know what this looks like.

And so, before I decided to get this new label with new medications, I was like, I just want to get off everything. I just want to see, I want to quit smoking, quit drinking. I don't want to be on any big pharma meds.

I'm on estrogen, I'm on Klonopin, I'm on Synthroid, I'm on Celebrex. Like the list was endless. And at one point I'm like, I just want to know who I really am.

And then I'm okay with this diagnosis. If this is really what's going to happen to me, I'm okay with it, but I want to know who I am. So I started that journey, and it was a journey.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (09:07.843)

I like what you're saying here, because a lot of times, yes, there's an initial insult. There's an initial imbalance. There's an initial diagnosis. I don't like the word, but that is real or somewhat real, and you take it on, and then you start the process, the meds, the whatever therapies, the surgeries, et cetera, and then you're not getting better. You might be getting worse.

And how much of that is really what's going on for you, or how much of it is actually superimposed on the side effects of these meds? So I think I would probably have done the same given that situation.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (09:44)

Yes, especially Klonopin doctor, especially Klonopin. Because these side effects were a hundred percent, because I had been on Klonopin. I had been given four milligrams as the max. These side effects were from benzodiazepine.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (10:00)

And those are hard to get off of. You can't just drop them.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (10:03)

I had a mini stroke getting off of it, but the mushrooms helped a lot, and that's why I pay homage to Amanita, because she has similar DNA structure as Klonopin, and so Amanita acts the same as that big pharma synthetic. It will actually help reset your nervous system and reset your fight or flight, taking you from sympathetic to parasympathetic immediately.

And so I learned how to break that down and make muscimol, because I lived in Washington, and they grow everywhere there. And it was right at this time of year that they start to fruit, and you can only forage for them.

And it was funny, because she kind of came on my radar, the Amanita did. And I'm like that's a cute mushroom, and then I opened up my Facebook, and she was all over it. And then all of sudden these mushroom people were coming into my Facebook group, and my Instagram, and she was speaking to me. And so I made some friends on social media, because I was chronically ill, and that's social media. I use it that way as a community and education.

Someone literally showed up to my house with the biggest amanita that I just met. He dried it, and he showed up with it. And he goes, I just was drawn to you to bring this to you. And I was like, my gosh. So I learned how to break her down. I learned how to make muscimol and ibotenic acid, which is the same structure as a benzo. And I learned how to take it in order for me to get off of my benzo slowly as plant medicine.

Then that's when I brought in even more mushrooms, because now I'm seeing that mushrooms are helping me feel better. So, I'm going to lean on them while I'm removing myself from the synthetics. I learned all of this while I've been in the field.

So I have two healthcare degrees, and I did run 25 healthcare colleges. I actually built them from the ground up, and I did their curriculum, and I wrote their books, and there were just a lot of things that I just never thought of for myself. And now I'm like, I’ve got to survive. I'm not ready to die.

I really need to know what's going on in my body. That was around 2021 when things slowly started to connect, and I started to really get an idea of what was going on with me. But I still wasn't at that point where I was like, this is it. I know this is my problem. This is my root cause. I didn't have one, yet.

So I'm sitting there, and I'm like, all right, what else could this be? Like I feel better, but I don't feel super great. The brain fog is pretty overwhelming. And then I turned on TikTok and social media. I don't know how they do it, but they definitely can read your mind. It's crazy.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (13:00)

They read your brain. They listen to your conversations. They read your mind. Yep. They hear your conversations with your loved ones behind closed doors. All of that. Yes.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (13:09)

It's really insane. So I scroll on TikTok one day in May of 21, and I come across this gal that said, “I almost unalived myself over worms.” And it just stopped me in my tracks, because five years before, I thought I had worms, and my doctor said, no, no Kim, you haven't been out of the country in years.

Well, I've been out of the country just not recently, right? And it's possible to catch worms anywhere. You don't have to be out of the country. In fact, I think they're more prevalent in the United States now, knowing what I know, than anywhere else, because other countries are not deniers.

So I bought what she was selling. It was $30, just a basic parasite cleanse from Amazon. And within three days, this pain that I had on my right side, this brain fog that I had, these outbreaks on my face. In three days, I saw roundworm flukes and pinworms in the toilet, and I have not stopped since July 18th of 2021. I have done this every day of my life, not cleansing, but just talking about it, learning about it, understanding it, educating it, creating a business around it, really having an idea of how to navigate chronically ill with parasites.

And so it was forever changing. I did a 60 second video, 10.5 million people watched it at one point before Big Tech figured out who I was. 40 to 50 million people used to watch me. I would make videos 10, 15 times a day. I did 4 hour lives, because we were in the midst of that 2020 where all these synthetics, all the drugs.

We don't want them, and we want herbs, and we want to understand it.

And so it really was a great time for the Worm Queen to pop in, get crowned, and really just teach everyone what these environmental toxins did to my body. And I have the knowledge behind it, and I still didn't know. And that's really what this kind of whole thing started for me, and where I'm at now.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (15:12)

Wow. What a story. So you didn't have a background in herbal medicine, or mushrooms, or any of that stuff. This is stuff that you learned by necessity to try to help yourself.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (15:24)

Yes. I did a lot of mushrooms and sat for around a year every day. I did some micro, or I would go a little bit. I did Amanita every day for a few years.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (15:35)

Tell me about Amanita. That's not what I know. What would I know it as? But what is there, is there another name for it? Is there a more common name that we know?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (15:39)

No, she's the iconic mushroom.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (15:40)

I mean, I know reishi and cordyceps and lion's mane and turkey tail.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (15:46)

Well, turkey tail and lion's mane are my two main ones that help me put myself into remission. If you take them at five grams a day, that's a therapeutic dose, so it's more than just a supplement. And we actually do have a mushies kit. It's actually called the Mushies Kit, and it has lion's mane, turkey tail. And one of our main teachers is called red artist in its red belted polypore and artist conch and red belted polypore is white reishi. And it can only be grown in the woods.

So those two mushrooms of ours are foraged. My husband and I used to forage them, but now we're so busy. We actually have someone go in deep into the Oregon woods to actually forage huge mushrooms for us in order for us to be able to make this tincture. But the polysaccharides is what you're trying to pull from mushrooms. That's the foamy. It's kind of white, that's what you want from the mushrooms when you're going into the mushroom world as you're trying to get those polysaccharides, and red artist is so full of them.

My first mushroom I ever took will beyond psychedelics was actually artist conk, because it helped with my GERD and digestion. And then red belted polypore helps with the nervous system. It's similar to reishi, they're cousins. So it's the white reishi, you've got the red and then you've got white. So it's just a little bit of a different polysaccharide medicine that you take. But overall, I would say mushrooms have been the best for me.

They're a game changer. I love them so very much. I use them every day. And I actually have made multiple tinctures around what I took when I had mold poisoning specifically, because after all of the parasite stuff, I also found out I had mold poisoning.

While I was living in the trailer, building the log home, building this business, going viral, I found out my trailer had mold, black mold poisoning, in it. That's how the other kit came about, because I know a lot about mold poisoning now.

It was like piece-mealing it, right? None of this was out there four years ago. You would have to go and search, and I read different medical journals and different countries to have a full understanding of what parasites did to the body and how other countries utilize herbs in order for you to keep them at bay.

It's not necessarily about fully getting rid of them, because that's almost an impossible scenario if we've never cleansed our whole lives. It's really keeping the symptoms at bay and how to do that. And that when you get in a stressful situation, you don't have them go above and beyond and cause you to have chronic illness. Or if, say, you go to Mexico, you come home, and you don't feel trashy right when you get home, but a few months later, all of a sudden you start to get ill, well, it could be from that Mexico trip, right?

But our doctors in Western medicine don't think that way. They think, well, you haven't been around. Well, they can harbor down, and they can go dormant for a while, and then you have some very stressful scenario happen in your life. And all of a sudden they go out of control. And that's what happened to me. So it can happen to anybody, and they can sit in you and just eat off of you, or live off of you, lay dormant in you, for a period of time.

So you really want to be proactive. So over the last four years, that's really where my stance has always been. If I had known what I know now, I might not have needed that hysterectomy. What I know now, I would have been proactive in taking a kit three to four times a year or doing some synthetics if I grabbed some in Mexico. You know what I mean? So it's really now for me just about teaching people

the proactive style, and to be more aggressive when it comes to like, I'm eating sushi, my God. I ate so much sushi, I ate so much, so much produce out. I never cleaned my produce. So again, if I knew then what I know now, I would just be more proactive. And that's really what the conversation should be versus it's so taboo is just let's be proactive. Other countries do this, you know?

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (20:17)

So it's interesting, because you mentioned the name of a parasite, and I missed it. What did you call it?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (20:23)

Crypto. So I had Cryptosporidium parvum, which is parvo, which actually kills puppies. And you can actually transfer that to other puppies, other dogs, and yourself. And you can get worms from your pets.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (20:37)

Got it. I'm going to play devil's advocate here a little bit. So are parasites the cause, or is it an imbalanced terrain that allows the parasites to take hold? And that's where, I mean, obviously you want to get rid of them, but do we just get rid of the parasites and stop there, or go deeper to balance the terrain, so the parasites don't find a hospitable host?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (21:05)

Well, it's both. And I know in the parasite world, it's a 50-50, but it's actually both. You can have parasites that hold on to viruses, mold spores, and different, other worms. And so that's what happened to me.  I actually had been tested for Epstein-Barr virus in my 20s with a spinal tap, and it came back negative, but I had worms.

So the worms were holding onto it. And when I dewormed, it actually was released into my body, and I ended up getting mono active Epstein-Barr. And so, did I always have it? Probably, yes. But did it get harbored inside of this parasite? And then all of a sudden, I dewormed, and now I've got this virus that dumped into my body, 100%. And that's what made me decide how to build my actual product.

I went and researched. Okay, well, do they hold on to things? They can hold six to eight times their weight in spores, viruses, other parasites, bacteria, and other types of problems, and other environmental toxins, like heavy metals. The heavy metals weigh them down, so there is a synergistic way you should be doing a parasite cleanse, and there are steps that you should do.

That's what created where I'm at now with my company, but that's what made me look into it even more. There isn't a chicken with the egg scenario here. It's one and the other. It's not one or the other. So do they hold on to things that could be dangerous to you? Absolutely. But as soon as they feel that it's inhospitable, they're going to dump that. They're not going to go, wait, what kind of day are you having today, before I dump all of this.

So if we're just proactive, and we take that step forward, and we go in with herbs like what's in the ParaFy kit, where I'm going in, and cilantro is taking out the heavy metals, which is releasing the worms. And then the worms start to dump what's in their bodies, but you're coming in with dandelion root and helping your liver, and hawthorn berry, helping with your heart health. But you're also coming in with wormwood and usnea. Usnea helps with getting rid of bad bacteria. It's mother nature's Doxycycline. You're coming in there, and you're attacking them. They're going to attack you.

Say you eat something like pumpkin seeds, and you get a stomach ache, why do you think you got a stomach ache? They're anti-parasitic, and they're dumping crap into your body, and you're not binding, and your body's doing its job by saying, “Whoa, I can't handle all of this. My immune system is overloaded. And now I'm fighting off the crap that the worms are dumping, because you ate pumpkin seeds.”

So you’ve got to do this strategically, and you’ve got to do it where you're doing it a few times a year, so that you're attacking them and attacking what they're dumping. And it's not to be a fear monger. It just is the way logistically your body does really work and the different frequencies that go into your body to actually have that understood.

That's all that Western medicine does to be honest with you. They just figured out what one problem is and then they've gone in and tried to fix it with a frequency.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (24:25)

A frequency? You're calling a prescription a frequency?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (24:30)

Well, I mean, it's a frequency of what you're trying to do in life, right? Like light frequency, you've got medicine frequency, it all kind of comes in, and it's like the opera singer singing, and her voice gets to the same frequency as the glass, and it shatters. It's a frequency.

So if you know which herb and what ailment is the frequency, you bring that in. You figure out exactly what that ailment is, and you bring the frequency of that herb in. And so it's going to conquer that particular issue, just like the opera singer breaking the glass with her voice.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (25:03)

Okay, how? We have practitioners listen, functional medicine, people who are into herbs and nutrients and creating a terrain that's inhospitable to unfriendly and unwelcome organisms. So what kind of symptoms would you have us look for that might clue us in that there's some parasites going on here, that it's not just they're eating crap, and they're not exercising, and they're listening to the news, and they're negative, and blah, blah, blah. That it's a lot more than that.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (25:35)

Well, those are definitely low frequency things that they love, because then you stay in that low frequency, and when you bring your body to a higher frequency, when you eat whole foods, and you're doing cold plunging, and all of those things, you're bringing your body up to a higher frequency. So it really does create an inhospitable environment. And I think I want to definitely answer your question, but I know practitioners are listening.

I just want to say, it's not about tackling the problem that has happened. It's about being proactive. And I just feel like that's probably my word for the year, because by the time you get a person who is seeing you for those specific issues, skin issues, IBS, IBD, brain fog, skin issues was my biggest thing. I have great skin. I've always had really, great skin. And then all of a sudden when my parasitic infection flared up from having parasites for decades, to be honest with you. I know how old one of my parasites was. I do. And it was decades old.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (26:41)

And how do you know that?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (26:42)

Because I passed it. I saw it. I know the length of it. This is all I do all day. I've looked at the worms. I know exactly how long a 10, 15 year old worm can be. And I just know from my health, and that I got bit when I was 12 with a tick, and I caught Lyme, undiagnosed for 30 years. And then I lived in mold, and it's all a magnet, right?

Once you get one of these things, it's like a magnet. If I had a doctor who said, let's just try to do a parasite cleanse. Let's just try it. Like what's the worst that's going to happen? Some inflammation's reduced, you lose some brain fog, your heavy metals are booted out, your candida's lessened, so you have less sugar cravings, your symptoms are better, the food noise is better.

You're going to have a little more energy. You're going to absorb your nutrients better. You're going to see improvement in your life. Let's just do one, like 30 days. Let's just see what it looks like.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (27:37)

Yes, that is being proactive, but when you look at people who are debilitated, or depleted, and you do that, that's when, like you said, you get worse, before you get better.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (27:48)

Well, anything you do, you're going to get worse, before you get better though, if you're going in and killing something. But it's a matter of supporting while you're killing.

If you go in, and you just do wormwood and black walnut hull, you're in a killing phase, and you are never supported. And that's what the Purify Kit is teaching people. It's teaching people that you don't just take killing herbs. I use a killing herb called Oregon grape root, but I use it in conjunction with peppermint, because peppermint is healing to the gut while you're removing small intestinal parasites at the same time together.

So you never go in and just have someone kill, kill, kill. You have to go in and kill and support at the same time. It's literally a symphony of ailments. So I got a headache, white willow bark, right? Because now my body is not fully focused on the headache. It's focused on support. And then you go in and kill and allow those killing herbs to be used. And that's what's different about what I've made in a kit form.

I love Cellcore. I love Cellcore. The reason why not as many people use Cellcore is because they put citric acid in their product, and a lot of us are very anti-citric acid. It’s a benefit for me, because we are fully organic and ethically sourced, and we actually do all of our own processing in our 14,000 square foot manufacturing facility where I have 45 team members that run the business with me.

I went from dying in the woods in 2019 to running this crazy business. And we've sold over 300,000 kits worldwide. I mean, we really have done a crazy thing. Like I've been on Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Will Cole, and we're all supportive of doing parasite cleansing, because it is really important in the day and age that we're in right now with all of these toxins.

We're so overloaded, and our food is not great. And so we just really don't have anywhere to turn at this point. How do I just cleanse my body? How is this just an easy way to get it out and just cleanse it? And so going back to what you said, I don't believe that one is the other. I believe they're the same, because most bodies are all the same.

Our bodies are all very similar, we just have different dynamics of how our bodies respond to things. And so if you take things like herbs we've never used before, we've never really been in an Usnea world, right? It's how the DNA structure of that plant is with doxycycline. So they all based a lot of their Western medicine upon what it looked like for plants, because you can't patent plants, but you can patent synthetics.

So there is that like indoctrination that we've all had, that we've all had to go back in and kind of rewire our brains, including myself, probably to a toxic point where I felt very guilty that I taught thousands of people, and I saw hundreds and hundreds of patients, and this was a miss for me. And so I know that this is something that I'm here to get in front of whomever I need to get in front of.

I've got a lobbyist lawyer and as soon as the FDA, we're compliant with all of the stuff that we're doing for GMP in order for our product to go in person, that's what it takes. It's a lot to get into stores, and I'm glad that they have these guidelines. As soon as that's done, I know this is going to be something that's going to be on the docket at some point in front of Congress. That's my goal.

By the end of this year, I would like to at least have some medical reform, because I feel like it's important for us, general population people, to fully understand that this is an easy thing to get from your pets, to get from salmon, to get from sushi, raw meat, to walk outside barefoot when you're grounding, and you didn't clean that area, you can get hookworm, you can get roundworm, you can get pinworms. And then go to a doctor who doesn't have that knowledge to say, let's just try this for 30 days, before we go in and change your entire life and remove an organ that can never be put back in. Let's try this.

Maybe this is something that I could be totally out there, but what's 30 days? What's 30 days to put some tinctures in some water and shoot it three times a day in order to just understand that this could be your root cause. It's not the only root cause, and I do talk about that all the time.

This is a root cause, but this wasn't my only root cause, but it was a huge root cause for me that if it had been addressed prior to having 13 surgeries, my life would look different now. And I love my life. I am so good with my life, but my whole purpose of being on earth is to make sure this never happens to anyone ever again and to give them as much knowledge as I possibly can.

Free eBooks, I've got like nine of them. Everything I do is free. My kit's a hundred bucks. I don't overcharge for anything. You can watch hundreds of my podcasts. I pay for all of that myself. So it's not like I'm doing this, because I had nothing else to do in my life. I healed my body.

I was a valedictorian in both of my degrees, and I worked my butt off, and I didn't know this, it was a miss in my life, as well as a few of my doctors, one of which does the ParaFy cleanse continuously. She told me I didn't have worms. She's the one that, when I thought I had worms a few years before, she's like, “No, Kim, you don't have any worms.” She had worms. We've chatted and laughed about it, how I almost got a biopsy, because it was worms. She and I laugh.

Anybody can change their mindset about the possibility of having parasites, mold, and obviously I have chronic end stages, or chronic late stages of Lyme, because I've had it for 30 years.

So it all has one big problem, and that problem is the environmental toxins, that we are not that knowledgeable about, that we're learning as we go, and have really done a number on our country. We put our heads in the sand, and we did not step up and say, “Listen, it could be worms. It could be mold.”

I know what's wrong with me now. I have science and proof behind me. You know what I mean?

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (34:30)

So when you talk about that, the worms, you figured out that you had worms when you did a worm kit, and you saw them come out in the toilet, right? Are there other tests that can be done?

And the other question I have is I found that when we try to put people on detoxes or anti-parasite programs and things like that, that a lot of times compliance is an issue, because they feel worse, before they feel better. And I think you addressed that earlier that most of these are not, they're not taking into account protection of the body with other herbs and things like that.

So I want to hear the other ways. You mentioned the name of the crypto, right? How did you figure out that it was crypto?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (35:20)

Well, sometimes you can get worse, before you get better, 100%. And people do posit. The nice thing about what I've designed, and what I've invented, and what's been done the last four years, is we have a repeat customer rate of around 75%, which is almost unheard of. Usually a company is at 40%, we’re at a 75% return rate, which means our kit is not that difficult to do.

It's gentle and effective, because I went through it myself, so bad. I had no idea what a binder was. I was not binding. I had them coming out my skin, my eyes, my nose, my mouth. I mean, out my pee. I did a fulvic soak. It came out of my feet.

It's all in film. If I didn't film it, I would never believe this was the truth. I would totally think that I was not telling the truth by four and a half years of my life, every day documented. You can watch how much better I started to get. Like I was so sick at the beginning of this journey, I showed myself every day. So you can see by doing what I'm talking about actually worked. I have very minimal doctor intervention at this point in my life. I have one doctor that's been with me from the beginning that I always run everything by. I just went into research in Germany. I went to research in Mexico. I went to research what their medical system does and how they keep their people from getting sick like this. Because they do have other issues, but this is not really a huge issue of theirs. Like it really is a big issue in our country.

So I have to say sometimes it does get worse, before it gets better. However, our teachers are so gentle, and you don't take a lot of them. It's a buildup, right? It's three times a day. It's 15 drops of each three times a day, 15 small drops. If you were to put it at the bottom of a shot glass, it would barely cover the bottom of shot glass. Because I didn't want to overwhelm the body. It's like a bad trip. You’ve got to keep doing it, but no one wants to do it. So you don't want a bad cleanse. I don't want people to have a bad cleanse and not want to keep doing this three to four times a year minimum. I mean, this really should be something that we're doing proactively in order for us to continue to be human.

I take it before I eat questionable food, because I still eat some questionably. I eat crab. I don't eat salmon anymore. But I take it prior to eating questionably to know my body is inhospitable. So they won't want to stay. And it mixes inside of my stomach while I'm eating, and then they just come out if I do get exposed to them.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (38:08)

So you do that proactively as opposed to the daily. So you might just say, I'm going out to dinner. I'm going to have this before sushi. And then you don't continue to do it. Is that right?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (38:19)

Right, yes, I'll do this three to four times a year and then I do five day ones, I'll do over the full moon, and then when I go out to eat questionably, and I don't eat raw produce out, but lately I've been craving salad, so I will take my ParaFy kit. I'll eat the salad, then I'll take my ParaFy kit again. And it's just 15 drops, three tinctures before and then 15 drops, three tinctures after, for digestive.

And just to make sure, because the food we're eating, and a lot of food is designed back in our ancestry years, like pumpkin seeds to put on salads, because of parasites. Pumpkin seeds are anti-parasitic. You put them on the salad. You hope that salad's been washed. You hope it's been processed and cleaned. You hope there aren't any bugs. And if there are, you just put an anti-parasitic inside of your stomach in order for it to push them out and not allow them to stay. That's the goal.

If you have divots in your gut, if you have H. pylori, they're all living together. They're all hanging out, diverticulitis. They're all living inside of your gut. So it's a matter of, I don't want this one to stay. I don't want this one to cause a problem. So it's really just about switching your mindset about it all.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (39:36)

Wow. And so what herbs do you use in your protocol and your ParaFy?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (39:40)

So with the ParaFy, I have ParaFy, Sustain, and Metal Flush. ParaFy is Wormwood, Black Walnut Hull, Garlic, Hawthorn, because three out of five people have a tapeworm, and they don't even know it.

Statistics from the CDC, which the CDC and their numbers are crazy, because the CDC won't even take the numbers unless LabCorp or an insurance-based lab tests you positive. That's the number that goes into the CDC. So right now, 60 million people per the CDC in 2023 have parasites. And in fact, it's even higher than that, because most testing, which we can talk about testing, most testing is inaccurate. My test went to Mexico. My number is not even included in that 60 million, because LabCorp came back negative, same stool, same sample that I sent to Mexico. Mexico's lab came back and said, you have crypto and roundworm. And LabCorp came back, you're negative, but at the bottom, there's a fine print that says, this is not in lieu of a parasitic infection.

I know what that looks like, because I trained them. I worked in academia. I trained lab technicians to do this test. So they get three minutes, and if they don't see anything, recognize anything, it's a negative, and it's moved on. The problem is when you move past that, the insurance no longer will pay. The doctor can only go with what the insurance is saying, and insurance only goes with what the lab said. So it's like an overrule situation. And then the CDC takes that number and puts that number in and that number hasn't changed in three years. It's been 60 million for forever, by the way.

It really is kind of a crazy roundabout way of just being like, just do what Mexico does. Two to three times a year, they take a synthetic, they do herbs. Jamaica, they do it once a month. They drink a tea called the bush. They know that this is a possibility. They know that there's contamination. They know that the pets and animals around them get dewormed. They should be deworming themselves. Like they know.

We just don't, because we've been in this type of world for a hundred plus years, and it's just been kind of taken out of our history, right? That this is something that we should be doing.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (42:13)

Okay, so two questions. I do want to hear about the testing, and where is the most accurate, and how it is tested. And then number two is, I think I saw it on your site, 90%, the estimate 90% of the population has worms. So where does that number come from?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (43:30)

I think 95% of us have worms. I think that 5%. I mean, you could probably watch a few of my podcasts where I say 90, 95. I know Dr. Gabriella Lyon, she says 90%. I believe we all have worms, because we've never really done any protocols. And it's kind of a thought process that, I was pretty healthy in my life. I was a snowboarder. I was a roller derby girl.

I ate good in my 20s, and I still had worms, because I was eating salmon, because I was eating sushi, because I never dewormed myself after I deworm my dogs or my cats. You know what I’m saying? It's so easy to catch a worm, and it's unbelievable to me in this world now how I didn't see it back in the day, as well.

Let me do the testing thing, so I don't forget.

So I use a company called parasites.org, but I've also used vibrant wellness and a gut test, too. I've done a few different tests. I've done a hair test. I've done all these tests. I've done energetic testing. I have a podcast called What's Eating You. We go around to all of these different practitioners, and all these different medical facilities, and we show what this is all about. We call them field trips. And so I've done a few tests with that.

Initially, when I first found out that I had worms, it was from parasites.org. It was an easy stool sample. They sent it to Arizona, and then they sent it to Mexico, and they had parasitologists actually look at it. It is an underutilized type of test in those moments. Live blood cultures underutilized. Drawing your blood, looking in under a microscope, you will instantly know you have worms. Instantly, because they're in our blood.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (44:22)

You'll see them, because people do live cultures on the live blood analysis all the time.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (44:30)

They should, I guarantee you, if you were to go and look at what the statistics are for people that have been diagnosed with parasites from a live blood culture analysis immediately, it's going to be pretty high. It's going to be higher, because they're not dead. You're literally drawing the blood instantly. It’s the same with getting stool. They only get three minutes to look at the stool.

Now, if you go and look at the stool, and you were to look under a microscope during a full moon, someone hasn't taken antiparasitics for two weeks, you hit them up during a full moon, I guarantee you're going to see something.

They're more active during the full moon due to the serotonin that runs through your body. That's the best time to do it. But it's just an underutilized modality for lab style, looking at things immediately. That's if I was in this world, and I was pushing. If I was a doctor, that's what I would have in my office. It's like a hundred dollars. It's like the cheapest, craziest thing that you could do, but it will be the most helpful for your patient to know exactly what's going on right then, right?

We can do that with blood, in our stool, and urine. We should do that with everything in order for us to be able to go in and go, you know what, let's just do this. Before you go get a root canal, or you go and get something done to your teeth, they make you take anti-parasitics in Mexico, because it's known that they live in our tissue, our muscle, and our blood. And so when you're doing anything out of the ordinary of just a physical examination, you're disrupting them. They're in their home, they're absorbing your nutrients. They don't have a care in the world. They're running, living rent free in your body. They're absorbing things. Hookworm absorbs your iron. That's why the South is slower, because there's a

prevalence of hookworm in the dirt there.

If you think about those types of things, why wouldn't you want to go first and see exactly what it could be and be proactive? Testing isn't always accurate. We just don't have good testing in our country. It's something that I really want to make changes with. I've said this for a few years now, because it's important.

Why can't we go and find this out immediately? And then you start going, you should take this vitamin C. Well, I don't want to spend all my money on supplements if all of a sudden I'm not getting any absorption from those supplements. That's where I'm at.

IV is a little bit different, because IV is right there, right with you, and it goes right in. But if you have to absorb something in your stomach, it's not as effective, and you're kind of wasting your money, if you have not gone in and really cleansed out your gut.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (47:20)

So for people who we see taking all the supplements, they're eating a good diet, yet we're seeing low levels of nutrients, minerals, vitamins, whatever, we might suspect parasites, worms, whatever.

So the other question I have for you is, would everybody that has parasites, in taking 30 days of your herbal tinctures and stuff such, would they see the parasites coming out of them?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (47:49)

Not everyone has physical worms. Those are nematodes. Nematodes are things like flatworm, roundworm, pinworms, they're physical. You could have parasites that are protozoa like Crypto, Giardia, and D. fragilis. Giardia is the most common that you can have. Crypto is pretty common too. I think they say two out of five people have Crypto, and that shuts your organs down. And that's what was happening with me. I had Lyme, I was living in mold, I had round flukes, Pin, and crypto.

It was just making an environmental toxic scenario in my body. It was an ecosystem just continually flourishing, and it was just wrecking me. It was just wrecking me, and every time I would go to the doctor, they'd be like, “You're fine. You know, it's just your endo.” You're like, at what point is it not just my endo though?

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (48:43)

Right. Like endo is just a gesture anyway? Like seriously, it's not just endo. It's endo. I mean, it's serious stuff.

Because I've done a lot of them, and I'm expecting to see some kind of parasitic thing and have nothing. Genova Diagnostics, GI Map hardly, or GI Effects hardly ever, if ever. And the few times I do see parasites show up, they're usually listed as, this is just an incidental. This is not serious. This is not pathogenic.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (49:11)

But they're laying eggs, and it's just your gut. It's just a snapshot of your gut. So I can actually break down exactly what I recommend to people that are doing these types of tests in conjunction with other types of testing that you should do and that I did.

So first off, you're getting a very small snapshot of what's in your gut at the time, and they're evaders. They know what you're doing. So of course they're not going to show themselves, because they know they're going to get unalived if they do.

So why would they? They know how to hide. They're a frequency inside of our bodies. They know we're talking about them. They know when I'm around. It's the weirdest thing. It's the weirdest thing I've ever experienced.

People will lose worms around me. I can tell what worms people have. I've had people blow them out their nose while I was standing next to them. I've had people go and be like, I've never had a belly ache, I just peed this, Kim, and took a picture, and sent it to me. I just got off the phone with you, I've just been around you. It's crazy, I don't even know how to explain it. It's a frequency that I have that makes them go on alert, because they're alive. It's alive in your body. It's another thing in your body that is changing your frequency and causing you to not feel well.

One of the things that I did that I found was the most helpful that I figured out, because there wasn't anybody out there that could tell me this, I did four full days of my stool. Usually you get two samples. So you just fill your first day up half of your container. Second day, go in and do the second container. Third day, go in and fill your first container. They have to go in the fridge. And then the fourth day, do

the same in the second container. Now you have four full days, four full snapshots. Don't eat any anti-parasitic foods, because you've just put them on alert two weeks prior. That's something that I was never talked about.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (51:09)

Do you have a list of those somewhere? Because I mean, I eat pumpkin seeds a fair amount.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (51:13)

Just don't do it two weeks prior.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (51:17)

Because there's others too, right? There's a bunch of other common ones. Well, walnuts, but black walnuts. Usually, we don't eat those generally. Clove, right? Clove will kill the eggs, too, right?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (51:28)

Clove, garlic, none of them. Yep. Yep. It puts them on alert. That's why some people eat garlic. They're like, I don't feel very well. Well, because it's killing parasites in your body, and you're not feeling well, because they're unloading their ammonia pee and their toxins into your body.

So your body's doing what it's supposed to do by ramping up and making you not feel well, but it's pushing against the resistance of your immune system going down.

So the other thing I recommend, test it during the full moon. Two weeks prior, don’t eat any anti-parasitic foods, or any anti-parasitics at all. And then get your blood done. Get your EOS done at the same time as the full moon, because that EOS is going to be high. And when it's high, it's because you either have parasites, fungus, or mold. And that is highly overlooked.

On a daily basis, I would ask my doctors, why is my EOS high? From the time I was 13 years old, my EOS was high. And when I would ask them, every time they would say, your body's fighting an infection, what infection? Why is this high? Not just a little high. Sometimes it was triple high. It was like a 5. It should have been 0.1 to zero. And it was a five. And they were telling me, it's because I was born in mold. My mom passed mold to me in utero. I had Lyme. I got bit by a tick. I had parasites. It was high for a reason.

So if you go, and you do all of these things when we know that the heightened hoo-ha of the worms is during the full moon. So do that, do your testing during the full moon. Get your blood drawn during the full moon. Do them all at once, because once you think in your mind that in fact I might have parasites, it's going to be a thing. You will never stop thinking about it, and they will start to move.

Toxoplasmosis, we can talk about that if we have time, but they can control your mind. They make you eat sugar. They tell you to stay awake. Insomnia is a huge, huge symptom of having a parasite, because they're nocturnal creatures. They get up around 7 p.m., and they're wanting you to eat and give them the time of their life, because they're up all night.

So there are so many things that you can look back and go, okay, so I drank some water, I feel bloated. I'm nocturnal. I'm up all night long. Why? I'm eating sugar like a mad person. I don't even like sugar. To be honest, I actually don't like sugar. My worms like salt.

So, think about it. If you've got another frequency inside of your body, mold is a frequency, Lyme is a frequency, parasites are a frequency. You've got these frequencies going in and telling you to do these things. There are so many other things they're telling you to do, like ignore them.

Don't take these meds. It's going to unalive me. So it's kind of crazy yet at the same time, it's a legit thing and other countries really do know that this is an issue.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (54:31)

Well, we've covered a lot here. A few more questions here, right?

So say someone who's in good shape, good liver function, did you do that?

Everything's healthy, but then they pick up a parasite somewhere. Wouldn't you think that that parasite's just going to go, this is in his spot and then just float out of them? Or are people who are, because you mentioned earlier, you stop smoking, you stop drinking, and those are pretty serious, damaging, seriously damaging to the body, right?

So say somebody who's been like grown up, my kids were raised from the time they were little, from the time they were born, never ate junk food, never ate processed food, didn't get all that stuff. Are they going to be just as susceptible to a parasite as somebody who grew up at McDonald's?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (555:22)

Yes, because you have pets, and they don't look at you and go, you are super healthy, you only eat organic, you work out, you cold plunge, you sauna. They don't think that way.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (55:34)

Well, the environment would be that way inside, right? They're not going to feel hospitable.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (55:41)

It's possible. People eat salmon not knowing how bad salmon really is for you, because of how toxic it is now.

If you look at my co-host, Sam Bruno, you'll see she is the most active, physically fit, holistic, healthy person I've ever met. And she's been blowing them out her nose for a while. And it's because they multiply so fast, and an equal opportunity offender. They don't care who you are, or what you've done. When it's time, and they burrow down just like Lyme burrows deep down, like a Ascaris, like threads itself right in. It doesn't care who you are. It doesn't care what you eat. It's there to survive and to thrive.

They can live dormant in your body just like you watch bears, right? They have the tapeworm living dormant in them while they're hibernating, and the tapeworm is living off of them. And so if you think about one moment in your life, that's the most stressful moment, that could trigger something that's been living in your body for a while, and you will never know it.

You could proactively just remove some heavy metals, because we all have them. We all have heavy metals in our body. Our water is very contaminated. That's what started this whole journey is I had worms in my water in Hoseport, Washington.

So we had to send those to Mexico, and that's how we found out where I got crypto, because we got it from the water. My husband got D fragilis, and I got crypto. And it  doesn't matter. You shower in tap water, and these things are something that as we are in an environmentally toxic environment, which is so sad for us, but the purpose is to just be proactive, even if you just do it once a year.

You're still removing some heavy metals. We all have some overgrowth of yeast, candida. We all have some form of a toxin in our body that needs to be flushed out. And so it's really just about being proactive. It’s guaranteed you're going to feel better, guaranteed you're going to absorb your supplements better.

That was one huge thing for me that I realized that needed to change. When I start to feel the food noise, or I start to feel like, that's not really working anymore for me, I cleanse, because something is in my body, whether it's a parasite, worm, candida, or heavy metal, something is inhibiting me from living my best life.

So I'm going to go in, and I'm going to take a month, or take a few weeks, and just flush it out, and start fresh, right?

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (58:24)

Got it. So it sounds like this is something I'm having a hard time grappling with, that we can't really protect ourselves. There's no way to create a healthy environment that's going to make you less likely to have these worms. And I'm just not quite sure I'm there yet on that.

So I want to know a couple of more things, and then we'll go.

So gut imbalances. So the gut is huge. It's a big thing right now with GLP-1s and all that. How do parasites play into that and not have our proper hormonal signaling, especially in the gut?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (59:03)

Well, you could still have improper hormonal signaling, because of them. And so I find that people that have hopped on that GLP-1, and then they've done a ParaFy parasite cleanse, they've actually stayed really consistent, and not had to go up, because they were removing some of those toxins, removing that noise in their brain that was saying, “Eat this.” That's candida. That's what parasites do. They communicate with you in this noisy way.

If you are really serious about allowing your body to get healthy, you will flush things out, and then see how other stuff works for you, right? Because when you're flushing the stuff out, you might not need as much GLP-1, you might not have to go up, because you're supporting your body in a different way.

But I want to go back really quick, if you have another minute to saying that it is hard to wrap our minds around that we're in a toxic environment and that it is very difficult for us to control it. We control it to the best of our ability. I moved from Washington to Nevada, and I live outside of Lake Tahoe, now.

What I can control is making sure that I do a heavy metal detox with metal flush. What I can control is making sure I have air doctors in all of my rooms, making sure they're on, making sure I'm eating the best food that I can eat, so that is in my control. I do know what it feels like to be out of control when it comes to health.

I'm going to drink the best water I can that's filtered. I'm going to do the air doctors in every room that I can afford. I'm going to do my best, and that is what I provided with the ParaFy kit. It is the best of the best.

We soak our own herbs. We process everything ourselves. We do it all ourselves. So no one else is in there. And that's the best that we can all hope for in life, right?

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (01:01:29)

Absolutely. I mean that, there's all kinds of stuff that are under our control. No matter how well I eat, or drink, or bathe, or whatever, I can't control that, unless I go live at the top of a mountain, or even say in the top of the Himalayas, or getting our drift of crap.

We can't control that, but I just want to make that point for practitioners listening. When you're working with people, you don't just go, it's Lyme. It's parasites. Here's the kit, I'm going to have this person do this three times a year, while they continue to eat their garbage, and not purify their air, and all that. So it is a full picture, right? It's the full system. And if this is a piece that we can do that can support people in being their best and living their best lives, I still have some hesitations that I want to go really slow. 15 drops is a lot for some of my people, right? Right?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (01:02:25)

You could do 10 drops, because it's a tincture. You could do it two times a day. You could slowly integrate it in. It's not a pill.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (01:02:33)

Right, so that's what I love is tinctures.

So you start with one, you do one drop, two drops, three. That's how I work with some of my clients, because they're so sensitive. All of a sudden you're releasing all kinds of crap that's in these parasites. They're going to feel like garbage, and they're not going to want to continue.

So I think that's all the stuff for us to keep in mind, and keep in mind that it's supporting their liver. And some people have more impairment of liver detox pathways due to their genetics, due to their prior exposures, and they're due to their stress, and they're untapped into traumas that they've been living.

So I think that what you're doing, you're standing up in the face of adversity, right? And even I'm not being adverse, I'm just being, this is realistic, right? We're podcasting, and we're trying to get out all the stuff, right?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (01:03:23)

Trust, I get this every day, all day. And it's really about, you just don't know what you don't know, and now you know something that you didn't know an hour ago, and it could help you. It's another tool in your tool belt.

If you don't know, I didn't know about any of this stuff. I didn't know about NAD. I had to learn it all. And so it is my mission in life. This is why I'm here. It's why I wear the crown proudly to be the worm queen. And I make merch, and I do all of the fun things, because this is such a weird topic, and you have to make your health fun.

If you are stuck in it like I was, I mean I was dying. There's no way around it. You can look at my before picture. I was dying, my husband and I knew it. There was something wrong with me. My body was not responding to anything. And so what do you have to lose? And that's how I felt. Like, what do you have to lose? And that's kind of my motto now. I had just a bunch of worms to lose.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (01:04:26)

Absolutely. So this conversation is really fascinating, and I think a lot of people need to be listening. I've always had this skepticism of people who say it's just parasites. Everything is parasites, or everything is Lyme, or everything is EBV, and it's just focusing on that one thing. And that's what I want to bring to this conversation.

This isn't just one more thing that you solely focus on and ignore the rest while they're eating Cheetos and drinking margaritas, right? You've got to look at the big picture and create as healthy an environment as we possibly can, given our environment, and given the world we live in. Given the stress that is inundating us day after day after day, it's certainly worth something to look at.

What I do like about it, I've not really bought into all the Cell Core. I shouldn't say that out loud, because I don't like all the additives, and I don't like capsules for anything. I use either powders or tinctures, right? I want to titrate, and it's super expensive, and it's super potent, and it works, but so many people get worse, so sick from doing it.

Whereas with something that's a tincture, that is herbs, fresh, organic herbs. I love what Mother Nature has provided us to just gently, gently, gently provide. Whenever I've done parasite cleanses with people, I always make sure they do cloves, because you can kill off all the mamas and the papas. Well, the mamas and papas aren't going to reproduce, but you can kill off all of those. And then they've laid eggs, and those eggs hatch, and now you have a reinfestation.

So you've got to look at all of those pieces. So I liked hearing you say that you do have the cloves in there.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (01:06:16)

Lichen is our biofilm buster. You’ve got to break that biofilm in order to expose them. So that's in metal flush, which is for the heavy metal. And I put in things that help with the pain, like I said, white willow bark. But you know what I noticed from the hundreds of thousands of people that have done this is, it gave them enough energy to be able to then take the next steps to do more to take care of themselves.

Their brain fog went away, the inflammation, the fatigue that started to kind of calm down, and they just got this new lease on life that then allows them to go and soak their produce, and go and get an air doctor, and go and set up their house so that it's a little bit more holistic. All of that takes energy, and when you are as chronically ill as a lot of people, like myself.

I don't like to say these words, but I'm still chronically ill. It's something that I'm constantly, chronically healing at this point in life. And so, I just now know the labels are different modalities that I have to do. When I found out I had Lyme, I bought an HBOT, I went and did it for a few sessions, loved it, went and bought an HBOT, and I do NAD. I do it sub-Q, I do it nasal, and I do it in an IV, and an IM.

Those things are my go-tos for my Lyme. Not necessarily my go-tos for my parasites. If I feel like I've got something going on, definitely not my go-to for the mold. Mold for me was blue and red light. So you do find these different scenarios when you have these environmental toxins and what modalities work the best for you.

In order to clear all of that and just to get a better understanding, you’ve got to do a cleanse. When I did my first cleanse, I did it for a year straight when I got off of the Wormwood, because Wormwood suppresses mold. Eye, mold, my eye swelled shut, and I lost half my hair, because I was living in mold. So then I had to back out of where I was living in the midst of this virul-ness that I've been in and go and get another place to live, because now I know I peeled that onion layer off for the parasites. Okay, now I have mold. Well, I had mold from decades.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (01:08:38)

You had it from the beginning, and it's knowing the priority. And this goes back to, I'm not a fan of one size fits all, because we have to create it. You have a whole bunch of different factors filtering in. Someone else is going to have different ones, and it's really a matter of layering, getting rid of the layers.

The last thing I'm going to ask you about is, what do you do for binders? What do you like for binders?

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (01:08:57)

So currently, our binder is called Cinnabin, and it's coconut activated charcoal and Ceylon cinnamon. And that helps with inflammation, but I'm working on a new one, and the FDA compliance, GMP certification, that we're about a month from getting, kind of paused my new binder, but my new binder will have fulvic and broccoli sprouts. It'll have cinnamon in it, and it'll have spirulina.

My thought process of why I chose those is it replenishes while it binds. So I like clays. I'm a struggle bus on charcoal. Always have been, it constipates me. So I'm really conscientious about charcoal. I do tell that to everyone, you know, don't take the binder if you're not pooping. It's really important to make sure you're getting it all out, and that binders bind you. I like fulvic, I like clay, I like charcoal.

I like chlorophyll. I just use what binder at the time of what I'm kind of detoxing as well. What do you like?

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (01:10:08)

Zeolite, well, I like those, but zeolite is another one and modified citrus pectin. Those are two that I use. That's more for heavy metals, but it also binds toxins.

It's worth looking at. So thank you for being here, and for sharing your wisdom, and I’m happy to hear that there's a happy ending. It's an ongoing process. So you're not at the end. We never are at the end, until we take our last breaths. There's always more stuff to work on, to learn to give. And I love your attitude. I'm here to support you. I'm here to teach other practitioners how to put it all together, so you're not just writing a prescription, and sending people on their way, and taking out organs that they actually do need, right?

So for those of you listening, where do they find you? We'll just put it in the show notes. We'll put all the links in the show notes, and you can take a look there. I know you have a quiz there that people can take, and it kind of guides you through where to start.

So if you are finding this helpful, make sure that you like it, subscribe, and don't miss any upcoming episodes.

Kim Rogers “Worm Queen” (01:11:28)

Well, thanks for having me, and remember, you can be your own patient advocate and have sovereignty over your own health.

Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo (01:11:35)

And that's what it's all about, really. I always say I want to put myself out of a job. I don't want people to need me. I want them to have the resources within themselves. But given the world we live in, they need people who are trailblazers, and that's what all of you who are listening, who are practitioners, who are wanting to be the trailblazers, who actually change the way medicine is practiced, and reinvent health care, which is the name of the podcast.

So I thank you. Thank you for being here.

Sometimes, the piece that's missing is just a different way of looking at the problem. You started looking at it differently, right? How do I figure out what's missing here? So thanks for being here, and we'll see you on the next episode.
