Dangerous Myths and Misinformation That Put People At Risk

Ep 75-min
In this episode of ReInvent Healthcare, I tackle several myths and misinformation about metabolic health that are putting your patients and clients at risk for dangerous health consequences. We need to share the truth in order to spread awareness about protective lifestyle practices so that our clients are able to make informed decisions to lead healthy, optimized lives.

IN THIS EPISODE:
What Is Metabolic Health
Metabolic health refers to the optimal functioning of metabolic processes in the body, including insulin sensitivity, blood lipid levels, digestion, thyroid function and blood pressure.

Maintaining good metabolic health is crucial for overall well-being and can be achieved through regular physical activity, a nutrient dense,  whole-foods diet personalized to  each person, movement,  stress management, and adequate sleep.

There Is No “One Size Fits All” When It Comes To Dietary Approaches
Individualization is crucial when considering fasting or dietary approaches. What works for one person may not work for another, as everyone has unique nutritional needs, health history, and lifestyle factors.

Understanding The Impact Of Food Choices

Testing blood sugar levels before and after meals can help individuals understand how different foods affect their blood glucose response. This knowledge allows for personalized dietary adjustments, enabling individuals to make informed choices about the types and quantities of foods they consume.

By identifying foods that cause significant spikes in blood sugar, individuals can modify their diets to maintain more stable glucose levels, promoting better overall metabolic health.
